Nokia 2730 classic – the cheapest 3G phone

The world’s most coveted handset maker Nokia has unveiled the flagship model Nokia 2730 classic - the cheapest 3-G phone available. Sporting some stunning killer looks and great features with a 2-inch QVGA display, 2-mega pixel camera, Bluetooth and Stereo FM radio, it is also internet-ready featuring Ovi Mail and Nokia Life Tools. It also makes provision for extendable memory. It boasts of up to 17 days standby and 3.3 hours talk-time,It will be made available in the black or dark magenta colors.

The new Nokia 2730 classic mobile phone specifications are:

  • MicroSD expandable memory (up to 2GB),1GB memory included

  • Ovi mail
  • Weight 88 grams.
  • Standard Li-Ion (BL-5C) battery

  • Talk time Up to 7 h 20 min (2G) / Up to 3 h 30 min (3G)
  • Music play Up to 12 h
This 3G capability is supposed to be offered at a drop-dead price of 80 Euros ($108) and will be made available in the third quarter of 2009.
